Me neither. Since I just c ame up with one in another thread, how about doing some lyric parodies? Here is what I just came up with: "Close to the Loo" by No "A seasoned chili calls you from the depth within your bowels, you rearrange your liver with so many gastric howls, then drown it all with red wine that came quickly in a jar, then taste the juice of grapes fermented losing all your wits for hours. Bending over just before I had to worry, Letting out my breakfast far from far behind, I relieved the tension only to find out no paper's there! Down in the booth, just on the toilet, Close to the wipe, just need a paper! Seasons have done their work, I get up, I get down, Now that it's out, now that it's done, Now that I find there is no roll!" | Rush definitely deserves a mention for this, as do Jethro Tull, but I can't see anyone except Roger Waters winning this poll. And I'd still vote for him. I don't (and never will) find Yes' lyrics more than passable. Too nonsensical and abstract for me. |

Very difficult. From the narrative and imaginative, often mithological style of Peter Gabriel, and the lyrics influenced by religion ( Jon Anderson - Yes), i prefer the cynical spirit of Roger Waters. Pink Floyd for me. |

Depends on what kinda of lyrics. Best wierd lyrics go to Genesis, but the greatest lyrics come from Pink Floyd. I mean, just listen to Wish You Were Here. |
