What other music forums do you participate in?

Other than this one, I use a Deep Purple Forum and a Classic Rock Forum and on the odd occasion the Mostly Autumn Forums.

This one however is fast becoming my favorite. You guys are gradually educating me into prog and it is generally very polite, unlike some forums.

 Its nice to be here.

The only other music web-sites I visit on a regular basis are the Gentle Giant and King Crimson official web-sites. Gotta have my fix of Fripp's Diary or my life wouldn't be worth living. Can't wait to see them with Levin back on bass.

Greg Lake's website (greglake.com), Genesis 'The Talking Shop' and IQ's website are the other forums I use mainly.I tend to avoid Yahoo forums as they never seem that friendly for some reason and I really can't be bothered to read long- winded messages!

The Real Allan Holdsworth and Izz forums.

Allan's site is mainly musicians talking scales, modes and equipment.

The Izz forum is about the band Izz and prog in general. The Dividing Line's producer Shawn is a regular.

I'm a regular on the Dream Theater board, and I also post from times to times on the IBreatheMusic forum ( http://www.ibreathemusic.com - www.ibreathemusic.com , very good site for musicians, mainly guitarists).

wow, well, i have been learning all the way since my inclusion in these forums, actually the other kind of forums that i have been involved has been in Architectural and Urbanistical things, with serious architects and students from other cities, but that's all, to be honest i got surprised that a lot of people around here like, respect and promote this great music: PROGRESSIVE, i´m lucky to be chating with you at least once in a while

I've been a member of quite a few forums but I usually stop visiting them after a few days because they arent particualy good and keep getting clogged up with insults and rubbish. This is by far the best forum i've been a member of.

The other forums that I visit from time to time are: AinA, SymphonyX and Star Wars.

Just a couple of YAHOO groups -

ELPDISC - Emerson Lake & Palmer

HAMMOND ZONE - for fellow Hammond players / enthusiasts (very handy resource for advice re organ problems )

Individual band sites are all very well, but tend to bogged down with arguments about whether Keith Emerson really did miss the major 7th chord in the 16th bar of Tarkus when they played the Albert Hall in '73...... ZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzz

It's for that reason, I rarely visit the ELPDISC site anymore, I'd much rather have a range of subjects on prog rock in general.

Once again - Huzzah for this site!!

There are two very interesting forums for those who speak Spanish: La Caja de Musica (from Spain) and Nucleus (from Argentina, this one available in English too). Both have a lot of reviews, interviews and comments about prog music, and there's a nice dude called Marcelo writing there  .
