Hi,

I've decided to start playing piano again; my first musical passion. I've been making some short piano compositions off of the knowledge that I posses. However, I think I still do lack some knowledge about theory and playing piano, and I want to read some method books (perhaps based on styles of music: blues and jazz) to help get some more ideas when making some songs.

I was wondering what method books you seasoned pianists would recommend to a "wanna-be" Keith Emerson or Donald Fagen (Steely Dan. My fav band .)
