We're a band from India and curently working on a demo(8 songs) 3 instrumentals are ready and we really wanted to know how u guys react to this type of music.So..if u check out our music please give some feedback...positive or negative .We're open to ALL types of criticism! Cool

Really cool! I'm not too sure how it fit in as progressive, RIO/Avant maybe, but I'm not an expert on the genre.
 
Maybe someone else can help you out a little more.

Well, I like your music.
If any, it will probably be best in folk or indo/raga (which I would personally put in folk anyway). But I am not sure if those teams will deem this progressive or not.
 
In any case, I like the music. Good luck with it.

Very nice, but as mentioned by those before me - despite the influences mentioned, it's hard to tell whether this can be classified as prog. A great listen though, and I pointed you out to a collegue who is interested in 'weird Indian percussion instruments' Wink
