Ok, the thread title shall start with the band's name, 2old... I'm not able to access the link right now but you may provide us with a name. After you can ask for "what genre?". Smile

With a name like that, I'd say 60s Everly Brothers pop, but I'll have a listen and come back with a more serious answer later. Wink
And welcome to PA!

Hi Les, welcome to the PA forum.

I liked what I heard of 2 Old Guitars so far. At first listen I'd say Neo or Crossover, but the samples are a bit too brief for a proper eval.

just "Dean" Les... saves the problem of the Q that looks like a G Wink

ps: I think 2 old guitars is an excellent name - and it googles well too (better than Yes or Who anyway LOL)

Well Don Wink, it's good to have good humoured as well as skilful musicians around on this forum.
After a short break from all things that we consider normal life, I am back at the site, and listening to your music right now. As far as I can tell, Dean is quite right in pointing to Neo or Crossover (Art Rock if you will), but I also have to agree that the samples are quite short.
I like the guitar and drum work a lot, but as a bass player I feel something is missing in the sound. Nevertheless, looking forward to longer samples. Or is there a demo/promo available for us to get somewhere?

Cheers,

Angelo

Nice to hear from you again Angelo, I was starting to have sleepless nightsLOL
Thanks for your kind words and comments....the bass work is done mostly on keyboards  and may lack a bit of  umpf... as a bassist you will notice this even more....but yeah your'e spot on.  Will hopefully sort this out . Have lengthened the samples now. There is a disc about and will get a demo to PA sometime in the future... when I've bought some more bass strings! - might buy a bass as well.
Until then all the best. Oh and we are going to change the name!!
