This is an interesting band that contacted me through Myspace. A sort of prog rock/metal.

This is their "bio" on Myspace:

Meet Fright Pig....

Born amid a devestating explosion that consumed the SunnyDale farm, Fright Pig has finally emerged from his charred sty and is ready to Rock and Roll you!

His style has been described as "utterly without musical merit" and "hideous", words that only stoke the deep furnace within his twisted soul:

"I really would prefer being called "depraved" because of the whole fright thing" said the Fright Pig as he leaned back on his worn barker lounge and sipped from a tall glass of hard corn syrup. "But.......as Ronnie James put it, "Jump, Jump!" You gotta be able to bounce back after they wallop you. I mean, most of my stuff was written on an autoharp and an old saw that I found after the fire. Let's see the critics do better......"

Fright Pig then cautiously withdrew back into his cave and refused to comment further........

evidently all the instruments are played by a pig (which is a little hard to believe)... but I hope they get signed, pretty good symph metal

Yes, I do hope they find some decent deal or that they manage to release it themselves somehow as I would be happy to buy their music.

The background picture of their MySpace is a bit, errmmm, irritating LOL

Great music though, even if it's not a pig playing all instruments. Someone knows how to use them trotters on a piano and a guitar....
They're steadily attracting people as well - Barque the Lune got played 44 times today.

Amazing amount of instruments to be heard, I expect either a bunch of multi-instrumentalists, or a very big, expensive synthesizer behind this. Great sound quality as well - even on MySpace!

Hey Guys,

Thanks for the invite to Prog Archives! I am thrilled that, (despite my wish to be known as "depraved") you are enjoying the music! More is on the way...in the hopes that an album will be completed early next year.

Glad the background is having an effect...it was carefully hand-selected. :)

Cheers!
