Don't they use magmanites in metal detectors? I hate those things! Once I went to the library to return some CD's and the gate beeped, and I'm telling you this has happened more than once! My only foray into magmaism is lost somewhere between the Caimen offices in sunny California and my house in rainy windy Albion. Whenever it deems to arrive I will let you know my honest opinion and signify my voting pleasure by voting in the appropriate manner. By my calculation it is a week late, which probably means that there is a distinct possiblity that there are Kobaïan-trained sniffer dogs employed at UK Customs and Excercise to route out said item and retain it for their own listening pleasure. Otis I can live with, once the Zeuhl bass kicks in (especially the live version from Bobino). Call From The Dark (Ooh Ooh Baby) tries even my patience, however.

Vander's drumming on MDK is almost inaudible. His drumming on virtually every other Magma album is dominant in its awesomeness, but on MDK it's incredibly undermixed. You missed them in the states; I saw 'em in June. They kicked ass.
