I never saw Hawkwind sober.

Master of the Universe for me.

Saw them a few of times.1973 at The Chalk Farm Roundhouse.Once on the Levitation Tour with Ginger Baker on drums at The Lewisham Odeon. And on another occasion at an all-dayer at The Lyceum with Nik Turner's Inner City Unit as one of the support acts.Needless to say they did Silver Machine and Lemmy came on stage to sing lead vocals. This was at the height of Motorhead's popularity.

Do 'The Stanley' otherwise I'll thrash you with some rhubarb.

I chose Spirit of the age. Is Dave Brock going to keep this band going forever or what? Despite the 1 million lineup canges I think this has got to be the longest lasting rock band next to maybe the Stones and Hungarian prog band Omega. Certainly no band has released more material even though many of their albums are anthologies.

I don't understand the question...

Hawkwind always seemed best live at Stonehenge, but Space Ritual is my favourite album, followed by Warrior on the Edge, then Levitation.

I've seen Hawkwind loads of times, and I even have relatively clear memories of one or two. 'Spirit of the Age' was the first line up I saw live, so I voted for that, though Space Ritual is my all time favourite 'wind album.

Too bad they've been bannned in Canada since Lemmy got nailed for drugs back in the seventies. I'd like to know why Lemmy isn't banned. I've seen Motorhead 3 times since the early eighties. This band along with Gentle Giant are two bands I wish I could have seen live .
