...the buddy feature?

What are the benefits of having buddies on the progarchives forums? Are you buddies simply listed for easy access? If so, where are your buddies listed? Do many of you use this feature? What's the deal here, guys?

The buddy list is there so that you can quickly an easily contact the people you bug too much, and so that you can check and see if anyone you can actually tolerate (and visa versa) is online.

I haven't even noticed it. Maybe that's because I don't have any buddies.

Ok, so it's not like there's a "Invite your buddy over to your pad" feature on there and you can make your own virtual pad and chillax with some internet buddies: It's just an address book. K. Fanx, guys.

Can we ask Max if there's any way we can have a "create your own pad" feature on progarchives?

I'm sure you could find a way to do that with some craazy HTML guide that's flying somewhere here on the net.

The more stars you have, the more of a budget you have on your pad. n00bs get a shack, groupies get a condo, senior members get nice family sized houses, us PR get Victorians, and collabs get a nice pretty castle.
