This is my favourite discovery of an unsigned band on MySpace so far, and I've been searching a lot. L'Herba d'Hamelí is a Catalan prog folk combo from Barcelona, influenced by Tull, Camel, King Crimson and Companyia Elèctrica Dharma  .There's nothing new or groundbreaking about these guys - except for the beauty of the music itself. Highly recommended to the fans of prog folk! Here's another great find from a while ago. Great band, I can see the band was at one point contacted about being here. Anyways, great sound. Very folky, reminded me at first of Jethro Tull, but these guys have their differences and are pretty original. I likey. It appears as though they may have an album. Seeing as though Guillem (the drummer) only had one post here, I'm assuming they don't check ProgArchives often, so I'll try to contact them some other way. |
