Hi!

We are The Nigua, a progressive Rock band. We considered ourselves a Guitar Progressive Rock Band, because our music is mainly guitar-based.
We are living now in Sofia, Bulgaria. We are eager to know what impressions our music gives you.
Visit our web space in: http://www.myspace.com/thenigua - http://www.myspace.com/thenigua

Thanks everyone!

Pretty good stuff, the only thing that I didn't love was the odd vocals in "I Want", but I liked the rest of it.  Lauralindorinan was a very nice song, wnice guitar playing.

Great stuff Nigua. I love your influences myself. There was some great guitar playing too, though I should add that it felt a bit too technical at times for a prog rock band. Keep it up!

Thanks a lot for your words Metalstrm, although we think technique is at the service of Music (I know for many musicians is the opposite case), so if you employ technique to make music, for us there's no problem.
Anyway, thanks a lot for your opinion, we do appreciate it!

Hi The Nigua! It sounds great as ever, but you already have your own thread in this forum. I'll ask the admins to either move this one to "Get the word out" or to merge it with your Unsigned Bands thread below:

Folks, last week I got word from Toni Troncoso of The Nigua. http://www.stoneislandrecords.com/product_info.php?products_id=108 - They have an album out on Stone Island Records now . Thus, I hereby invite the genre teams to evaluate this band. Toni provided samples that I can share with any teams who are evaluating the band (some of which are likely also on MySpace).

First suggestion: Heavy Prog?

The news is not very good so far... Though we both liked the band's music, we thought it was not prog enough for them to be added to HP. More comments in our HP thread.
