Two French drummers from bands I'm not too crazy about. Superb drummers nevertheless.

Which do you prefer? No "they're equal" option this time, I want you to choose     !

I go for Moerlen, but only just.

Christain Vander singlehandly invented a new genre in music; he is an innovator and an original creative force besides his great drums technics.

Moerlen is a great drummer!

So who do you think i think the most of?

CHRISTIAN VANDER of courseThumbs%20Up

Vander is very good as well. And Magma is a great band! But Moerlen is just... easily one of the best drummers I've heard so far!

Ok, the "no doubt" in your post made me wonder.

Vander, although Moerlen comes a close second.

Two of my faves. Can't really say I enjoy one more than the other here, but I enjoy more albums featuring Vander than Moerlen.

I was actually thinking about them when I made this poll - Moerlen and Vander are two of their favourite drummers.

Both are masters , hence hard to slice the apple but I give a nod to Moerlen more in memoriam as he is no longer with us .

I absolutely love Vander's distinct style; he mixes the very best elements of classical (the incredble precision), jazz (never plays the same thing twice), and rock (the GROOVE, man!) into one kickass drumming experience.

I think Moerlen is a great drummer, but I don't find him quite as distinctive or talented as Vander.

Two of my very favourite drummers. Moerlen wins by a whisker because what he does on "You", especially the track "Master Builder", is unsurpassed.
They played together in Magma for a short time but didn't get along.

Uhhhh tough one... Although I've been hearing Magma a lot lately, I just have to go with Moerlen, he's  the Master(builder)!

Tough one! But I think Moerlen is more skilled and talented. I really love Vander work with MAgma but this time my vote goes for Pierre...
