I am Xander, and I think it's safe to say things around here will never be quite the same again...
  Anyway, I'm 17, I've been lurking for 6 months or so (shortly after I discovered prog). I love at least something from pretty much every sub genre except neo prog (don't worry, I'll try to keep my flames in good taste
 ), and my absolute favourites are RIO/Avant/Zeuhl and Art Rock. Awesome site by the way! |

Art Rock? oh boy how do I start
Art Rock does not have a peculiar sound or form nor structure, it is, until now, a dumping ground of bands that don't seem to fit any other genres. But find me 5 similarities between Uriah Heep and Gentle Giant
