I need to fill up 8 pages, so I am going to talk about how it is defined, who are the legends, how did it all start, how iss it right now(popularity wise, growing/shrinking), and some other stuff.

I am just wondering if you guys could suggest some good places for me to look for info.  Are there any books, magazines, or articles I should try to get my hands on?  It's due in a month, so I have a good amount of time to do my research.

Read Edward Macan's book "Rocking the Classics"

You could fill 8 pages easily, just by summarising how it all started or simply by trying to define what it is.

...or rather, I could... LOL

Yeah I was just making an outline right now, and 8 pages isn't bad.  My teacher is just nuts when it comes to sources.

i would reccomend taking it era by era and with each era doing short bios on important artists in that era. Refer to each bands websites for resources.
