a bit beat down from a late night last night, and a long train ride back to Rome today.  I'll share my thoughts on the show tomorrow, but would like to thank Andrea Cortese, his brother Fabio, and Mandrakeroot for showing us a great time.  I'm going to frame Aldo's autograph hahha.  We totally enjoyed ourselves and are still raving about the show.  If anyone has the chance to see them on this 40th anniversery tour...see them... wow hahhaha.

Giuseppe "Michi" Dei Rossi it doesn't seem has 60 years old because it steps on like one of 20 years old!!! And Michele Bon in "Blue Ronḍ A La Turk" (single of first formation but published in 1973) surclassed Keith Emerson that he recorded this song with The Nice.
For me they have gone beyond what I expected (also for Andrea Cortese).

And you are played all of my preferred songs...: "Felona E Sorona" (summary), "Figure Di Cartone", "Gioco Di Bimba", "Cemento Armato", "Sguardo Verso Il Cielo", "Blue Ronḍ A La Turk", "Contrappunti", "Amico Di Ieri", one summary of "L'Infinito" and one summary of the beautiful "Il Fiume". In general they played like they had 20 years oldand not 60 years old!!! (Specially "Michi" Dei Rossi that he is a very animal but capable of to treat its car from war with the velves gloves!!! And Michi's solo is the best drum solo that I've listen in my life!!!). And Aldo Tagliapietra it is still in a position to using the voice like in the 70's.

P.s.: I should thank the boys(?!?!?) of Le Orme to have make known me two excellent boys(?!?!?)... Micky and Raffaella. And I hope that also Micky and Raffa were pleased with to have been able to know one mad person like me!!!

hahahha... for sure Mandy.. we were pleased.  It was a pleasure to finally meet the 'mad' man himself.  Hopefully my beer guzzling, marlboro smoking, ugly mug didn't disappoint you as well LOLWink

it was a hell of a show.

Uomo di Pezza has always been my favorite from them...  and they sure didn't disappoint.  When Rush comes to Milan next October, we'll have a second RPI team party.  I'm being dragged to it... so you all have to come to LOL

Wow sounds like a great show.  I missed Le Orme by two days at Nearfest 2005.  I did see PFM though even though Flavio Premoil was too ill to perform the replacement they got didn't miss a beat.  (Can't remember his name).  In the 2000's it seems like we have to travel long distances to see bands sometimes.  Thank God for these prog festivals though.   I hope everyone supports one nearest to them.  Smile
