Did PF ever play 'animals' in its entirety live?  if so do you know the names of any good quality shows?

I saw Pink Floyd at Vets Colloseum in Phoenix, AZ in (I think it was) '78.They played the entire Animals album. Complete with giant inflatable pig.

Yes, they did... But they usually changed the order of the tracks from show to show. Doesn't matter in my opinion;

you can find info from www.pf-db.com

to name a few shows, you can check out the following ROIO's:

01 - 27 - 1977 - Two frankfurters
Prog King
1977-05-01 - Iron Pigs On Fire
06 July 1977 - "In The Flesh" Tour, Montreal (very important concert, have you heard the story with Waters spitting to a fan's face?)
25th June 1977 - Have You Heard The News?
22-06-1977 - Curse Of The Pig

There is bootleg video footage (also on DVD) from The Animals tour, the sound quality is OK but the image quality is poor, only for Pink Floyd collectors or die-hards. Check out the PA advertisements for Pink Floyd bootlegs Wink

Well, it's not really relevant whether they've played it or not themselves, since an excellent live version (of the entire album, yes) can be found on the second part of Live Frogs by Les Claypool's Frog Brigade, released in 2001:

On a side note, the first cd includes covers of "Shine on, You Crazy Diamond" and "Thela Hun Ginjeet". Needless to say, it's all performed in great style.
