Did anybody on this list happen to catch my 2006 interviews with Ian, Carl, and Chris (when he was with The Syn)?

You can still hear my interview with Ian Anderson by checking my schedule page. I am not currently playing any of my 3 Chris Squire interviews (for obvious reasons);  I will be making my Carl Palmer, and John Hawken (Strawbs) interviews available again soon. Just check my schedule page for dates/times.

Many new interviews are in the works for 2007!

Where can we catch your interviews ? Can you write the link ?

Great that you interviewed Carl, and Mr.Hawken from  The Strawbs. I want to read it, and learn something because I will see the Strawbs at the Mtl prog.fest next september. If ever I have to talk to The Strawbs, I will know what to talk about. (at the  prog.fest, we meet the musicians, so last year I spoke to the guys of Hartfield and The North, and to Gary Green from Gentle Giant.

Was it fun to interview Carl ? I worked for him at his table when he came to play here with his band. A very nice guy, very talkative. I just had to say a word , or show a picture,  and then he was talking and talking....Ha! Ha!  Big%20smile

Nice to meet you, Prog Sylvie.

These are not written interviews;  they are phoners.

Carl and Ian called me from London, and I spoke to Chris both in London and San Francisco. My interview with Carl Palmer is about 40 minutes long and my interview with Ian Anderson is about 20 minutes long.

I don't plan to rebroadcast any of my 4 interviews with Chris as they revolved around his membership in The Syn and he, of course, is no longer with them.

You can currently hear my interview with Ian Anderson by checking the schedule at:

http://www.live365.com/stations/virginiaprograsser/schedule

for day of the week and time and then listen at:

I am not currently broadcasting my Carl Palmer interview but it had a BIG audience over the 3 months or so that I webcast it last spring. I retired it after Carl finished up his 1st solo North American tour. If there is enough interest in it again I will put it back up in the schedule.

The Ian Anderson interview continues to draw listenership due to the fact that it covers some interesting ground like politics and ecology, small wild cat conservation (Ian is a cat-lover as most fans know, as am I), and the economics of both touring and philanthropy. Ian had had a very stressful day and originally planned to give me only about 5 minutes but he quickly warmed up to the subject matter. Follow-up interviews with both Ian and Carl are planned for 2007. :)

Best,

:)Steve
