Karda Estra News - March 2007:

Hello everyone,

Work has been continuing on a new Karda Estra CD which is now in the final stages of recording. The concept album will be titled 'The Last Of The Libertine' and it is hoped it will be ready for a summer 2007 release (on the Cyclops label).

Richard has recorded some classical guitar and bouzouki parts for a new project following an invitation by Spirits Burning musician Don Falcone. The tracks feature Bridget Wishart (ex-Hawkwind) and Daevid Allen (Gong). Richard also wrote an oboe section for a another tune which was performed by Karda Estra oboist Caron Hansford.

Artist Ray Ward has created two animations which feature Karda Estra music. Tracks choosen by Ray were '... From A Deep Sleep' and 'Bathed In Light' (piano sketch version). Dancer Susana Weingarten has produced a Music/Dance/Theater Experimental DVD 'Five Knights And A Muse' which features five improvisations to different pieces of music - one of which is the Karda Estra piece 'Cassiopeia'. Further information at Susana's MySpace site:
