Had he been born in a so-called "1st World" country and Pixinguinha (Alfredo Vianna Junior, 1898-1973) should be hailed, deservedly, as a Supreme Master. Unfortunately, this genius is almost unknown outside Brazilian borders. Nice to list him here, Markos. Below a youtube video, taken from a documentary, maybe from the end of the 40s.
Pixinguinha, composer of the song ("Carinhoso"), is the giant black fellow with the saxophone.
