I can only remember from Tatcher onwards (Heath Wilson and Callaghan were only names I heartd of but was not paying attention to their political acts), which leaves:
 Adolf TatcherDead,
Lame John Major Clownand
Tony B LiarSmile.

Until his Iraq blunders, clearly Blair had my vote as the best UK PM.

let's just stay above the moral melee
prefer the sink to the gutter
keep our sand-castle virtues
content to be a doer
as well as a thinker,
prefer lifting our pen
rather than un-sheath our sword

The best had to be Churchill of course.

Recently ...
the best was John Major ... Britain was brilliant when he was prime minister
the worst is Tony Blair ... Iraq ... say no more
