**If this is in the wrong forum, please move this to the correct forum. I just bought Ayreon's The Human Equation, and there is a problem with the CD. For some reason, it splits the beginning of "day twelve: Trauma",(the start of the second CD) into 7 different tracks, with the first 6 being about 7 seconds. With the 7th track being the rest of the song. I was just wondering if there is a way to fix this, and what I should do. I bought it from CD universe, should I try to exchange it? Then again, it's not that big of a deal, just kind of annoying. Thanks |

Actually, the first bit of Day Twelve is split into 11 different tracks because Arjen wanted Day 12 to be Track 12. It works conceptually, but like most people, I combined the tracks into one full file so there aren't any pesky 3-4 second tracks from tracks 1-11 on Disc 2.
It's easy to do if you have a wav-file editor program like FlexiMusic or similar programs. Just rip the tracks as wavs and copy and mix them one after another. Ohhhhhhhhhh, ok. Ok, I get it.So it's supposed to be that way. Thank you, it was one of those tiny things that wasn't that big of a problem,yet, it bothered me to no end. Anyway, thanks for both replies! |

When I ripped the CD I simply deleted the short bits.
