I think the topic explains it self.

I wanted to check all the releases of 2006 and i realized that we can't browse by year

i think it would be a cool add-on for someone who wants to delve into the music of one particular year.

I don't know if this is posted again, if yes then delete it please

Yes it has ..... Wink

But, yes you can .... go to "Top 100 albums" and you will find a filter for year

Well, at least you can browse the top 100 albums of the year by genre and the top 100 in all-genres http://www.progarchives.com/top-prog-albums.asp?year=2006 - HERE.

When using the "genre" top 100 lists individually by year that gives you a huge number of albums (although not all for every year).  2006 is very well-covered since I haven't found any sub-categories that have one hundred albums listed for the year. All there for that year that are in the archives, I believe.

There must be  a way to increase the amount from 100 to whatever required. I've been trying to figure it out with no success as yet.

Sorted!

In the address bar after, for example...

http://www.progarchives.com/top-prog-albums.asp?year=1973 - http://www.progarchives.com/top-prog-albums.asp?year=1973

you type &MostPopular=(Number)

For example

http://www.progarchives.com/top-prog-albums.asp?year=1973&MostPopular=250 - http://www.progarchives.com/top-prog-albums.asp?year=1973&MostPopular=250

and you have the top 250 for 1973!!!
