why arent there any progressive acts here in vancouver, Opeth came a while ago and Rush was here a few years ago. Other than those two, i can't find any mention of prog bands playing. even small "Indie Prog" bands

But yeah, Western Canada is pretty much entirely devoid of prog. It's a sad state of affairs.
