Is there a way to limit the search function just to the forums.  If not, I have no idea how to use the search function to see if my topic has been done without searching through 100s of pages of reviews.

Why don't you try the dedicated forum search function at the top of the forum pages? Wink

Yep, that would do it, although you can't search through the body of threads, only the titles.

I tell a lie - the option to search in message body is back!

If you hit the search function at the top right of any FORUM page http://www.progarchives.com/forum/search_form.asp?FID=59">Search The ForumSearch   you will be sent to this page:

Here, I gotta question for you talking heads...how can I search for posts I've made? Whenever I try to do that, all I find are topics I've started...?

  1. Click the search function
  2. In Search the User Name write The Whistler
  3. In Doisplay Results as    select Topics
  4. Mark All Forums in Search Forums
  5. Click in start Search
In 18 sreconds you will have a lot of topics in order from old ro new.
