PINK FLOYD and ROGER WATERS have graced us with numerous versions of "The Wall" over the years: the original album, the live "Is There Anybody Out There", Alan Parker's movie, Roger's DVD at the Berlin Wall.

But has there ever been a live version of "The Wall" from the original shows released on video?  Over the years, these few shows have become the stuff of legends.  I would love to actually see these shows!

Does any video of these shows exist? Or is it like GENESIS' "Lamb Lies Down" tour, where we can wish all we want, but will probably never see?

It is likely that both bands you mention have filmed or taped numerous performances thru the years, including 'Lamb' and 'Wall'. I have little doubt they exist. The question is will the owners of this footage release it someday- and I suspect the answer is yes...but don't hold your breath.

I have seen bootlegs, but they're too expensive.  The description of the show in Inside Out by Nick Mason confirms that the live in Berlin show falls short of the original show.

I read from David Gilmour's interview about 2 months ago that The Wall show was in fact filmed by a proper film crew, hired by the band. At the time of The Wall movie they were considering to use that footage to support the storyline, but finally decided that it was better to tell the story without any live clips. On that same interview Gilmour said that in modern standards the quality of that particular live footage isn't that great. Gilmour added that if it is possible to improve the audio-visual quality of the material in the future, with technology not yet existing, who knows... but it will be Roger Waters' decision, because he owns all the rights for the live Wall footage.
