 French railway is just organizing a big Prog & Train campaign , next on the list:
'Dover is too close to the edge' and 'Lamb and mint down on Canterbury high street'.
In the meantime Hugues and Marie-Noëlle picked me up at Calais under a pouring rain . So Hugues put 'Grobschnitt's 'Solar Music ' on to soothe the Gods and it worked...

Martin seems to have forgotten that we had the chance to talk to Hatfield and The North members in the pub after the concert, get our CDs signed and chew the fat with The Rotter's Club (the book that is) writer Jonathan Coe.
The first night's first B&B was buitlt in 1652 and we talked music into the night, while our second B&B was a XVIth century coach house complete with the pub (where we ate the typical shepherd's pie and steak & kidney puddings). And the simple Simon pub was placed on St Radiguns street.

| Sounds like you had a great time guys. I have many fond memories of Canterbury (the city) from my youth. I still remember the old wonky shop. There used to be a great toy shop near there where I spent hours looking at all the Corgi cars I couldn't afford. I also remember buying "Going For The One" in Canterbury when it first came out. |

Indeed, was Chris really selling his copy of Hopper Tunity Box? It's one I don't have myself, haha. Great photos guys. I've never been to Canterbury, I may have to go sometime. Alucard, you've done one better than me! My copy of Hatwise Choice is only signed by Richard Sinclair (I saw Hatfield and the North last year, when Pip was still with us; great gig I might add!). Although my brother also has a copy of Hatwise Choice signed by Richard Sinclair... Good stuff! -------------

I suspect that there will be more Canterbury events in future years.
Hatwise Choice: Mine was signed by Sinclair and Pip Pyle some 16 months ago when I first saw them.
