Topic: Trotsky (Martin) steps down from Admin team

Subject: Trotsky (Martin) steps down from Admin team

Trotsky (Martin) has stepped down from the admin team. Martin has been finding it increasingly difficult to dedicate the amount of time he would wish to actively performing as a member of the team. The Admin team were quite comfortable with this, but Martin has now concluded that he cannot see any change in the situation coming about in the near future, and has asked to leave the team.

Martin has been a great asset to the admin team, and has made an extremely valuable contribution to the running of the site. As is the way with the team, much of what Martin has done has been behind the scenes, and thus not apparent to the members.

On behalf of the site owners, the admin team, and the members, thank you Martin.

Martin has been awarded the title of "Honorary Collaborator". Clap

I did observe Martin's passive impulse over here, but assumed he's doing background work, like you said.
It's a sad news. Cry
but nonetheless congrats, Martin, or the work done, generally and particullary and hope you find in the end a way to break out of the relentless rhythm that affects you. Thumbs Up

(anyone new instead?) Wink

(and who remains "in charge" with the promotions?)

Raf (Ghost Rider) was appointed in anticipation. The rest of the team have been re-distributing Martin's old duties.

Martin will be keeping in touch with the Archives; he visits every day, and hopefully he will be able to contribute again next year.

Martin's a good guy!

Good luck, Martin, and hope to see you around a little more in the future. I had noticed he had been quite absent lately, unfortunately.

"Real life" is more important than a website, though, which is something some of us forget now and again.

I got to know and like Martin due to his nice personality and I remember him going all over the world for his work, so I understand he has not much time for PA.

Good luck in your life and work, Martin and do come back and have some nice prog talks with us.

(Maybe you'll even go back to your musical days and record again).

Thanks for your hard work Martin. I know you do quite a bit of juggling in your life, and was amazed you had time to do this at all. Thanks for everything, and I hope you will find time to hang out in the forums.

This explains a lot.

Sorry I missed your parting Martin. You have been very good to me, and very helpful in easing me into the Collab job.

Looking forward to your return.

So we do... I have a huge debt of gratitude towards him. It was Martin who recommended me to Ivan for the Symphonic team, and if I hadn't joined it in May last year, my life wouldn't have changed so drastically for the betterHeart... So, dear Martin, come back soon! I for one really miss you!Hug
