Here are some great retrospective videos about the legendary electronic pioneer Conrad Schnitzler. Schnitzler had begun making music under the "zodiak free art lab" and Kluster (with Moebius & Roedelius). The music provides totally unusual dark experimentations with narratives, amplified acoustic instruments, reverbs & echomachines. In solo he explored much more abstract psychedelectronics. He is the man who reached the progressive scene to a higher level (this is truly art for art), making intersections between contemporary avant garde and kraut-synths. His most recommended efforts are Gelb, Blau and Gold.

great find phillipe, i will have to wait till i can get to a high speed connection to enjoy these vidoes, though. i have gold, blau, con 3 (more avant pop), and the famed (maybe even a tad overrated, but still great) ballet statique.

you are definitely right about "Ballet Statique", this album can be seen as a musical compromise between strong, challenging electronics and hypno-minimal electro pop.

all albums published for the "Block & art gallery" sound installations are absolutely recommended

very impresive.

I would be interesting to recreate the path that electronic music followed since its experimental first days to the pop-electronic bullsh*t that is so comon nowadays.
