Apparently "Son of Aleric" (or something like that) the Purple Instrumental, was named after someone that appeared in one of Blackmore´s Seances!
 
Also on Rainbow "Long Live Rock n Roll" in the sleeve notes it says "No thanks to Baal". Baal was a ghost or apparition of some nature that told them to leave the place in which they were recording.
(Strangely enough Dio´s last album with the band) Dio also brings up this subject on his DVD (Evil or divine) during an interview.
 
Anyone have more info on this?
