Exactly, because i can't see King Crimson's Island, Jethro Tull's Aqualung, Anglagard's Hybris.........

The sort approach UK TV channel 4 does was their continuous stream of top 100s. Get some pundits in a room, ask for a total of 150 nominations, post the list on your website, and only then allow the public to nominate one from the restricted list of 150 - this allowed Channel 4 to film about 150 short pieces, and still produce a 3hour plus TV programme only a few days after the poll was closed.

 
However....... However, for a webpoll open to all in sundry, allowing the public to nominate from a short (incredibly short) personal list, smacks of patronising. Let's boycot it.

The list is very very very small considering the amount of great prog pieces out there. Out of that list my vote goes for In Absentia.
