I don't have the DVD, but I do have the audio and it's nothing to get excited over, so I wouldn't expect much from the DVD. In general stay away from Dream Theater's cover projects they have all been, I don't mean to sound so harsh but, terrible. This one is no different.

I really don't like covers in general, with the exception of bands just starting up and having jams. But these cover albums just annoy me, I heard Master of Puppets and my interest instantly disintegrated. I also don't mind covers that the artist has put a spin on but Dream Theater just played the songs trying to emulate the originals. The audio version is junk....terrible sound quality that really ruins it for me.

DT covering PF sounds really boring, cause they just played note in note and didn't change anything. It's just so...amateurish. And LaBrie is terrible, he just hasn't that deep and powerful voice to highlight very important moments. ------------- Weasels ripped my flesh |
