I don't have the DVD, but I do have the audio and it's nothing to get excited over, so I wouldn't expect much from the DVD. Aside from the vocals, the music is nearly identical to the original album (which again, is nothing to get excited over).

In general stay away from Dream Theater's cover projects they have all been, I don't mean to sound so harsh but, terrible. This one is no different.

The same doesn't apply to Mike Portnoy's tribute bands though.

I absolutely love it! Especially the second disc of all Floyd covers... they do Echoes, One Of These Days, and Sheep so well!

I really don't like covers in general, with the exception of bands just starting up and having jams.

But these cover albums just annoy me, I heard Master of Puppets and my interest instantly disintegrated. I also don't mind covers that the artist has put a spin on but Dream Theater just played the songs trying to emulate the originals.

Not my kind of thing.

It might have been nice to deviate a little bit from they way pink floyd did it some thirty years ago, still a nice cd for the collection though :)

The audio version is junk....terrible sound quality that really ruins it for me.

If you want a great DT cover album get The Number of the Beast.

DT covering PF sounds really boring, cause they just played note in note and didn't change anything. It's just so...amateurish. And LaBrie is terrible, he just hasn't that deep and powerful voice to highlight very important moments.
