G'day all!Thumbs Up

I've been coming out to the archives for a couple of years now and decided the other day to sign up. I'm from a little town outside of Canada's capital, Ottawa. I'm a music fan in general with my primary interest in various styles of prog. BTW this is an awsome website that has intrduced my to tons of great bands!!

I own a reasonably decent collection of music. Approximately 1300 slabs of vinyl ranging from Jazz (Chet Baker, Miles Davis, Coltrane, Brubeck, Weather Report, Benson etc.), Mid 80's to mid 90's thrash, speed metal (Slayer, Celtic Frost, Destruction, Voivod, etc.), Rock, Folk, Blues, Heavy Metal (Zepplin, Hendrix, Cream, Neil Young, Joni Mitchell, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Sabbath, Allman Bros., Canned Heat, John Lee Hocker, Doors, Jeff Beck, etc, etc, etc.....Ya get the idea) ......And of course the must haves, Crimson, ELP, Yes, Floyd, Atomic Rooster, Genesis, Zappa, Tull, PFM, Gentle Giant, Uriah Heep, Rush, but I must confess only 1 VDGG (faux pasShocked)

I've also own approximately 500 CD's which span a similar range as above with the inclusion of additional prog material like Shadow Gallery, Marillion, Explorers Club, Dali's Delimma, Evergrey, Magellan, Liquid Tension Experiment, Bozzio-Levin-Stevens, Fates Warning, and yes folks I am a fan of Dream Theater. I've seen them live 4 time and thought they were great!Clap So i guess that make me a fan boy, whatever that isConfused! Haha

Look forward to spending more time on the site. Good tunes, good chat.

Cheers,
