Lots of lovely stuff happening on the Magenta front lately...check out the following links -

http://www.dprp.net/index.php - http://www.dprp.net/index.php Great round table review of new album Home (and the New York Suite CD), an interview with keyboard player Rob Reed and a competition to win a copy of the new album

http://www.musicaldiscoveries.com/greymatter/ - http://www.musicaldiscoveries.com/greymatter/ Great Magenta feature and also a Chimpan A feature , which is a new concept CD (though not nescessarily prog) album by Rob Reed in collaboration with some interesting artists such as Sam Brown, Steve Balsamo, various members of Magenta, an opera singer and a poet/narrator. Very interesting, very excellent album, worth checking out

The band were also featured on the Classical Connections show on Thursday 20th. For those of you that missed it, you can download the entire 1-hour show as an MP3 file from us HERE. It's a 37 mb download. It's well worth a listen - as well as featuring Arrival, Anger, Joe, Essence of Love and a part of the White Witch, the show also includes a couple of the orchestral tracks from the ChimpanA album and a few classical pieces, one of which was chosen by Rob.You can hear a version with the full intro, and slightly better quality (but same size download) at Creative Progression For more details of the classical pieces played, go to the PROGRAMME WEBSITE  (if the links here down't work, you can get them off the bands website below)

Plus there is the Annie Haslam/Magenta collaboration single Night And Day, an upcoming radio interview on Paul Bakers' Soundscapes with Magenta singer Christina and details of upcoming gigs, check out the bands website -
