Last night i went and saw the scottish rock band Mogwai at the Metro in Sydney. They were awsome! They took the stage at 10pm after the opening band My disco to the sound of bagpipes and played through to 11:45pm including the encore. I have been a fan of Mogwai for about 4 years now and seeing them live was a great experience. They played alot of songs from their Happy Songs for Happy people album, but was dissapointed when they didn't play 2 Rights make 1 Wrong. The set list was as follows:

Long Way
Friend of the Night
Travel is Dangerous
Ithica 27o9
Ratts of the Capital
Tracy
Acid Food
Killing all the Flies
Kids will be Skeletons
Mogwai fear Satan
Hunted by a Freak
Glasgow Mega Snake

Encore:
You don't Know Jesus
We're No Here

At the end of we're no here they went into a 10min feedback session to finish their set, which was insanely loud, but awsome, if anyone has seen them live they would know. Overall it was a great concert, with great music and light show. I definatly will be seeing them next time their in town.Clap

I can't wait to share this new wonder...The people will all see its light!
