I'd like to recommend Sam Bush's new CD, Laps in Seven. Sam Bush is an extremely talented Mandolin player and vocalist. He was originally with the New Grass Revival. They were a Blue Grass group that was more progressive than many of the groups listed on this site. The Blue Grass Revival also include Bela Fleck, another great progressive musician.

On Laps in Seven Sam Bush uses a lot of exquisite instrumental work, works with Jean-Luc Ponty on one track and even covers It's a Beautiful Day's White Bird (it's as good as the original).

I'm not recommending that Sam Bush be included on this site (it's already confusing enough) but if you enjoy great musicianship and progressive music you may enjoy this CD.
