Hypnogsis was the artist who designed now world-famous Pink Floyd covers, and Hypnogsis is now in the same legendary vein as artists such as Roger Dean. Hypnogsis is well known for creating the Dark Side of the Moon prism, the burning man on Wish You Were Here, the flying pig on Animals, the cows on Atom Heart Mother, and many more to boot. The man's name is Storm Thorgerson. Hipgnosis is the name of the design company he founded with Aubrey Powell in 1968.
They did some damn good work over the years.
