I submitted an artist for inclusion on Prog Archives called Milo Black on Feb. 1, 2006. I got a reply on Feb. 2 that the artist will be forwarded for consideration. I did not get a response that my submission was incomplete, so I'm assuming the submittal process was adequate.

The procedure for submitting a band is here:
http://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=11993 - http://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=11993

If what I'm reading is correct, it should have taken one week to hear a response from the Team, both for approval and disapproval.

I'm guessing the Team was backed up, so I continued to wait. Since it has been four months and I haven't received a response, what should I do?

If the answer is that the Team is still backed up, then no big deal. I'll continue to wait. I thought I'd better ask just in case something fell through the cracks. Please forgive me if I've posted in the wrong forum.

Thanks for your time. Smile

Sorry guys, we have a big backlog at the moment. Milo Black have been added to a (very long) list of bands to be added. I don't know anything about this band but it may help if you could pm a member of the relevant genre team to see if they will agree to add them.

Tuzvihar, you don't say which band you added, but at the moment I'm still working my way through the backlog so any bands added in the last few weeks won't get added for a while.

I submitted a polish band Skaldowie. Chopper, you should download the music samples I uploaded on yousendit (if you haven't done it yet) 'cause the time of their availability will expire soon.

Someone contacted me via e-mail. Thanks for getting back to me. Just wanted to make sure it didn't fall through the cracks or if I needed to resubmit something that was missing. No rush on this. If you have bands that are of a higher priority, I don't mind waiting.

Thanks again for getting back to me. Thumbs Up

No problem. I must admit that, until I started in this job, I didn't realise there were so many prog bands in the world!
