Got any Scandinavian, Eastern Euro, Mid East,
Indian, Japanese, South American treasures out
there?

must be progressive rock or electronica, 70s or early
80s preferred. If it is jazz fusion must be melodic, but
a little off center(not too avant garde). No speed
display(content over virtuoso), no dominant foreign
lyrics, prefer mystical or semi dark atmospheres.

No Kitaro

Oh yeah: try Sagrado (South America) and Kenso (Asia)!

The perfect mix of mystical & peaceful mood is definitely Jade Warrior: try Kites, Waves or Floating World albums
