After two more years of intensive research, it is time to call a halt, and to present you with the results. Forty years later, innumerable ''progressive'' groups would name these bands when laying claim to the "heritage" of Progressive Rock.

Well, it is logic, everybody don't have space in the cover. I missed Camel and Rush instead Porcupine Tree, but there's no complain about it.

I WILL try to get my hands on a copy of this... (legally, of course) but I will seriously pay a lot of money for it.

I'd love to get a copy of this!
But instead of putting two PF albums on the cover, why don't you replace one with a Roger Dean cover? He has been so hugely important in the cover art of prog.

There's a link to where you can order it on the front page.

I got mine on Monday, I've read a bit, it's pretty cool so far. Aside from some oddities (various editing errors, Mike Oldfield and Tangerine Dream not in the index of prog artists, everybody still seems to think Fragile came out in '72 and Octopus came out in '73, Hawkwind is a major band!?) there's nothing to complain about.
