alright, i dont know if this has been done before, but here's how it works:

the preceeding person names a band or artist, and the next person has to name an artist or band that somehow relates to the previous one. (they have to explain what the connection is as well). So after awhile, it just becomes a huge web of connections. Simple enough?

eg:

Genesis

 (REPLY)

Peter Gabriel- was  the front man for Genesis.

GET IT? should be simple enough

That's accruate, but the idea was not to link them together and make a suite out of it, with lyrics that narrate a whole story all throughout the sequence of those composed parts. Gabriel was so amazed about what he heard in 'A Plague...', that he suggested Genesis do something like that. Of course, they had so much material already written, that it was only natural that they would use some of it.

Discuss? Words by Hammill and Gabriel themselves, on different interviews. Even though Tony Banks doesn't explicitly mention the 'Plague'/'Supper' thing, he acknowledges VdGG's influence on Genesis' sound in the sleeve notes whe wrote for the VdGG box.

Regards.
