As you can see most of my topics are lists of some sort so here is another!
I usually make my list for the night, a list of the prog albums I'm going to listen to.

Here's mine for tonight.

  • Moonmadness
  • Third
  • Pawn Hearts

By then I should be asleep. It is much more convenient to go to Windows Media Player and set in order my albums tonight. If you don't already do so, and you listen to music at night while you are laying down, I recomend it.

So, show me your list!

I'll listen to Opeth - Ghost Reveries three consecutive times. I'm finishing the first listen.

I always do that when I get a new album, in order to get  it growing on me as soon as possible.

Do other people do the same?, do you hear a new album several consecutive times the first day?

I think Van Der Graft's Godbluff and King Crimson's 20 minute song Lizard, on their album Lizard are great to go to sleep with.

I often try to go to sleep with classical music and/or jazz. I think they are good for your brain patterns while you sleep, well I know Mozart definantely is.

Precisely why I picked Third, and then Pawn Hearts, so if I do fall asleep while listening to either, I'll have a nice sleep. I agree, I think the type of music you hear while asleep does affect how you sleep and what goes one during it.

It makes you think what Marilyn Manson, Metellica etc have on the subconsious of the youths who listen to it, it can't be good.

^^Probably the other half of the reason why teens are generally depressed. The first half of the reason being that they have to be since all the other teens are.
