Additionally, Steve Morse (guitar) should be added to the lineup. Yeah, I've wondered about this one. There is also a live 'Greatest Hits' listed that has the exact same track list, but is listed as 2003 ( http://www.progarchives.com/Progressive_rock_discography_CD.asp?cd_id=3221 - http://www.progarchives.com/Progressive_rock_discography_CD. asp?cd_id=3221 ). According to King Biscuit Records, the album was recorded in August 1989 in New York City ( http://store.thekingbiscuitshop.com/kansas.html - http://store.thekingbiscuitshop.com/kansas.html ). I'm guessing these are both the same album and just issued under different covers. You're right about the dates and Steve Morse though. Maybe our resident Kansas expert can clear this up.... Garion?

I wonder if KBFH put out two different shows from the same tour? Weird. Either way, we should get it fixed just so no one gets the impression that Kansas wrote junk like All I Wanted BEFORE 1980!

Yeah, well I suspect these are both the same concert. BTW, just to complicate things, I believe this one ("Extended Versions") is from the same concert as the 1998 King Biscuit album, just with the songs in a different order and missing "One Big Sky" and "Point of Know Return". I actually have this one, and it's not too bad I suppose, although Walsh's voice gets pretty raw in a few spots. ------------- "Peace is the only battle worth waging." Albert Camus |
