.....finally decided to join.

anyway.  tastes are all over the place, but generally break down into metal, classic rock, and weird {stuff}.  the more overlap, the better.  and prog just happens to fill the bill in all three cases.  ;-)

i rock zappa (duh!), pink floyd, jethro tull, kansas, rush, tool, opeth, yes, the mars volta, sigur ros, anathema, the gathering, nightwish, mr. bungle, neurosis, king crimson, voivod, thought industry, primus, my dying bride and a boatload of other stuff that's outside the scope of this site.  if it sounds good to me and isn't boring or vapid, i'll listen to it.

looking forward to finding a few new favorites.....

Welcome! As far as the stuff outside the prog rock scope is concerned ... have a look at my website too (in my sig)! Only today I submitted a short review of a new band called Ghostigital ... they released their debut album on the Ipecac label and it's really weird!
