Subject: Question About Genesis Bootleg

I have a Genesis bootleg CD titled "Happy The Man". There is a variety of Gabriel era tracks on it such as the tracks from the BBC Nightride session in 1970, The "Happy The Man" and "Twilight Alehouse" singles, and other tracks.

However the CD begins with a song called "Mary, Mary". The CD says that "Mary, Mary" is from an acetate Genesis recorded in 1967. I have been collecting Genesis bootlegs for many years and the "Happy The Man" bootleg is the only one I have ever seen that has "Mary. Mary" on it.

I have been studying Genesis for years and in all of the books, articles, websites, ect. I have read about their recordings I have never seen any mention of a song called "Mary, Mary". The singer on the song sounds very much like young Peter Gabriel and the music is not far from what Genesis was doing in the Jonathan King/From Genesis To Revelation period. I have to believe that this is Genesis but why is there no mention of the track anywhere.

I am curious if anyone else out there has heard this song or has any information about it. Thanks in advance. I know if anyone can help me out it is the members of this forum.
