Anyone here fans?  I love them personally.  They're a ten-piece from Norway, and have three solid and progressive albums under their belt. Their music is a blend of skittery, fast-paced electronic smaples and loops with slower, more liad back Horn/String arrangements. I highly reccomend them to anyone who likes Prog, and I think they could be added to the archives under the Fuison banner.

Thoughts?

I have recently converted.  I heard 'What We Must' and fell in love.  I just got ahold of 'A Livingroom Hush', Which IMO is not as strong, but also amazing.  I'm not sure how to classify them, however.  I started looking for them under rock, then under jazz, and eventually found filed them under electronic.  They don't really sound very electronic to me, but it doesnt matter, they are still great!

I also think they are hard to classify, I have recently heard some tracks from "the styx" album and they sounded almost drum & bass in fact closer to Squarepusher than anything I heard by them on "what we want" or "a livingroom hush".
I also agree that I prefer the "what we want" album.

If you look at the above thread you also see mention of "the Mats / Morgan band" who I highly recomend.

I've only heard a couple of their songs from "The Styx", but it sounded very impressive. I might just have to get one of their albums!

Good to hear it Krusty - btw did you track down Mats Morgan either on Steve Vai's Zappa tribute, or the Beefheart tribute (wrt the latter, I just can't find anybody selling it)
