TWELVE THOUGHTS TO PONDER:

12. Never take life seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyway.

11. Life is sexually transmitted.

10. Health is merely the slowest possible rate at which one can die.

9. (For Women or gay men only) Men have two emotions: Hungry and Horny. If you see him without an
erection make him a sandwich.

8. Give a person a fish and you feed them for a day; teach a person to
use the Internet and they won't bother you for weeks.

7. Some people are like Slinkies.not really good for anything, but you
still can't help but smile when you see one tumble down the stairs.

6. Health nuts are going to feel stupid someday, lying in hospitals
dying of nothing.

5. Whenever I feel blue, I start breathing again.

4. All of us could take a lesson from the weather. It pays no
attention to criticism.

3. Why does a slight tax increase cost you two hundred dollars and a
substantial tax cut saves you thirty cents?

2. In the 60's people took acid to make the world weird. Now the world
is weird and people take Prozac to make it normal.

1. Politics is supposed to be the second oldest profession. I have come
to realize that it bears a very close resemblance to the first.

(Haha, have a laugh..... okay, stop. Get yer arse back to work Garten!)

I’m reminded of one of the old Carry On films – I think it was Carry On Follow That Camel. Two of the team were arguing and hurling long-winded insults at each other until one spat out “You mother was a whore in the kasbah” to which the other replied, “Oh, you knew my mother?”

That only applies to natural born Californians. I am not natural... er, Ah, I mean. I wasn't born here. Of course, it hasn't rained in 6 months, so my skin's not all pasty and wrinkled. How's the slicker, London-boy?

I'll take that as a compliment, while I sit here listening to Baby Animals and eating museli!  Nothing like a pure morning purging to set the day straight!

Ahem, being "naturally" born here I don't ever remember any of this being part of the "california" lifestyle until all the freaks from the midwest and the east coast started showing up.

How's fall in sweltering Chi-town? Still working on that tan? Too bad about the hockey lockout. I understand the Blackhawks were gonna win eight or nine games this year.

Actually, no I did not even know about it till after it happened. I heard it was great. I am just discovering all the "progness" on the web.  I thought it all had died years ago.  I will certanily go to next years.  I am going to The Whittier show of the Musical Box and two days later am seeing Kansas in Temecula and am going to try to see Keith Emerson Band with the Scorpions at Universal Amph. You going to any of these?

I'd love to the Musical Box, but funds are not available. Too many "new releases" lately. I will be going to Cal-Prog 2005. The boys from IZZ will be there again and I think they alone are worth the 4 hour drive.
