I'm going to start a progressive rock band! First I need: A guitarist, a keyboardist, a drummer, and possibly a saxophoner and/or electric violinist. The guitarist should know how to use practically all effects known to mankind, the keyboardist should be able to play mellotron and synthesizer as well as piano, the drummer should be able to play like Bill Bruford or the drummer on Spock's Beard (and do those cool "Clink clink" hammer-type noises), the saxophoner should be able to improvise free jazz/jazz-fusion, and the electric violinist should be classically and contemporarily trained. That's all I ask... I already play bass...and write poems and lyrics and concepts... BUT NOBODY IN OKLAHOMA KNOWS HOW TO DO ANY OF THIS STUFF AND NOBODY LISTENS TO PROG!!! AAAARRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!!

Maybe when I get to college there'll be people who can do this stuff...

i'm pretty sure there are people out there who listen
