I'e found that almost every musician has at least one or two musicians that they have a love/hate relationship with. They love them for their brilliance, and they hate them because they make it seem so EASY!

For me, right now, it's:

Guitar: Steve Vai
Electronica/Psychedelia: Shpongle/Simon Postford
Overall brilliance: Zappa, Prince, Mr. Bungle

What are yours?

I certainly don't hate King Crimson in any way (although I do begrudge them their lack of recent touring, which has prevented me from seeing the band), but I sometimes feel like crying after watching them on DVD.

I can strangle a canary in a tin can and it would be really original, but that wouldn't save it from sounding like utter sh*t.
