I believe Mary Poppins was actually banned from several cinemas in the UK during the '70s, and eventually led to the almost complete downfall of the already fragile Chimney Sweep economy.
Ahem.... Despite the above, though, I'd have to go for Scarface - "take 2 chainsaws into the shower......?" -------------

Actually "The Passion of Christ" was the most violent film I've seen. And as a mother of a son, I found it extremely painful to watch. ------------- THIS IS ELP

Kill Bill is pretty violent, so too is Gangs Of New York. The only film that has ever made me feel squeemish is Casino.The scene where Joe Pesci finally gets his comeuppance is quite horryfying! The Passion Of The Christ is brutal but pretty sophorific! -------------

I heard the Passion of the Christ CD has wacky outakes at the end yes I know....I am forever distasteful until the end....whoa.. that lightning bolt from the heavons nearly got me............ OUCH!!!!! seroiusly...that movie made me bawl like a baby I would say The Evil Dead Movies ought to be up there but since it isn't I chose the Sound of Music....a real underdog I know but I have faith in Julie Andrews |

Even as a longtime horror film nerd, the violent scene that got to me most was in American History X, where Ed Norton makes the kid put his teeth on the concrete curb...urgh...the sound... ...but I haven't seen The Passion (which many people tell me is so irredeemably exploitatively brutal that one wonders how it got rated R when films with less violence get an NC-17...or get edited before release...or boycotted after release by concerned Christians...). I'm casting my vote to Jan Kounen's "Dobermann". I'm certainly not an action movies fan, but this is the ultimate carnage. So raw and purist that deserves complete recognition. The best performance by Vincent Cassell along "Sur mes lévres". Fantastic piece of work! Aaaand... well, Monica Bellucci is gorgeous, erotic and yummy alright in this film!

The scene with her swooping down on an unsuspecting chimney sweeper singing a merry song and stuffing him down the chimney! The poor guy suffocated to death, and then she used his body as a passenger in her (evil) Rolls-Royce so she could use the carpool lane in LA!! Beastly lady! I could just go on and on and on and on and on about that horrid lady and her nonsense! In fact, I will. Her offenses are thus: rape, murder, killing, slaughtering, not slaughtering, and terrorism. It's even rumored that her shenanigans (what with the driving planes into innocent victims' houses) inspired George Bush to hire Osama Bin Laden to blow up the World Trade Centers in 9/11! How dare they put such garbage into a movie! It simply will not stand! I will protest until this hideous movie is removed from circulation! The scene with her and the squirrel just makes me want to......

I don´t know that one, but there's an Anime filme i think to be the most disgusting filme I've ever seen (although I'm sure there are more I haven't over there): Urotsukidoji. Very violent and disturbing for it mixed violence and sex. |

yep, the Urotsukidoji series was pretty bad...graphic depictions of demon/ human copulation, rape, child abuse...lots of blood...but the worst part was that they kept using the same scenes over and over!
