Sylvian with Fripp is a good reason

But a great dark band like Japan should be in

Not keen on all their music, so I don't know, if they have similarities to Talk Talk then yes.

My favourite 80s stuff is early stuff by OMD "Maid of Orleans", "Electricity", "Sealand" and "Joan of Arc" by I don't know if they music is Progressive enough to be added.

I was not exactly keen on Talk Talk even if their last two albums are proggish. More reflective than downright prog!

This is the problem:

After Radiohead , now dEus and next ? Some people are insistant with Muse.

If Talk Talk and The Church , what next? OMD, XTC and others?

Please let's stop the non-sense here!!!

Since Deepp Purple are in , some want Zep and Sabbath and BOC. Others would like Wishbone Ash , Mountain and Budgie. And then if Budgie is in then why not Blue Cheer etc....

It simply never stops!!!!

Let's focus on prog, first !! there are hundred of prog bands still to be included before we start including popular bands that are slightly prog-related and need no exposure!!

let's just stay above the moral melee
prefer the sink to the gutter
keep our sand-castle virtues
content to be a doer
as well as a thinker,
prefer lifting our pen
rather than un-sheath our sword

Man (Wales), Family (England), Manfred Manns Chapter III (South Africa/England) ?? (released LPs during the Prog Rock era in the late 1960s to the 1970s).

^^ I feel the bands above deserve an inclusion here, also nearly every Prog Rock compilation I have features the Man band.
